Karen was born and raised in New Jersey with 4 siblings by a single mother, whose strength and family values taught her life-long lessons. In 1980, Karen married after a 9-year relationship and relocated to Florida, where she played an integral role in helping her husband establish his general law practice in North Palm Beach by applying her extensive paralegal and administrative skills. While building her own successful career, she also devoted herself to raising their two children, Kacie and Matthew, as a single parent since they were 3 and 5, instilling in them the family values and traits of perseverance, professionalism, and hard work that have guided her own life and career.
Karen’s strong work ethic, resilience, and values, taught to her by her mother, have had a lasting influence on her children. Her son has become a successful construction contractor, launching his business in his early twenties, while her daughter pursued a career dedicated to helping others through advanced study and professional development in psychology and hypnotherapy, and is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Psychology. Both were raised with Karen’s belief that opportunity comes through dedication, curiosity, perseverance, and hard work.
Karen is especially proud of balancing a long and accomplished professional career while raising her two children, and helping to raise her 3 grandchildren, and through instilling in them the values of family, professionalism, determination, and integrity that have guided her throughout her life.
